1. Updating EU’s Climate and Energy Policies: Romania

2. ICGB launches first phase of the process incremental capacity process

The independent transmission system operator ICGB, responsible for the management and commercial operations of the Interconnect Greece-Bulgaria gas pipeline is initiating the mandatory process for assessing market demand for incremental capacity. The new infrastructure provides nearly Bulgaria’s annual domestic consumption and creates opportunities for natural gas transportation to other neighbouring countries in the region, including Moldova and Ukraine. 5. ORLEN’s historic second LNG carrier arrives in Świnoujście

At the end of June, the second vessel of the liquefied natural gas (LNG) fleet developed by Polish ORLEN Group arrived at the LNG terminal in Świnoujście, delivering around 65,000 tonnes of LNG from the Freeport terminal in Texas, US. Read the full story here.
