Vladimir Malinov is Bulgaria’s new Energy Minister

Former Bulgartransgaz CEO, Vladimir Malinov assumed the position of Energy Minister in the caretaker government headed by Dimitar Glavchev.

Meeting with his predecessor, Rumen Radev, Minister Malinov outlined the main tasks for the Ministry of Energy in the coming months. These include the continuation of the process of liberalisation of the electricity market, the completion of the update of the National Energy and Climate Plan and the country’s energy strategy, among others.

Successful implementation of these priorities will ensure affordable, secure and sustainable energy for all consumers.
