Attila Kiss takes over as Senior Vice President Energy Networks Europe at E.ON SE in January

Attila Kiss will assume the role of Senior Vice President Energy Networks Europe at E.ON SE, effective 1 January, 2024. His new responsibilities involve the market steering of E.ON’s international distribution business.

Attila Kiss started his career at E.ON in 1999, since then he has built up an illustrious career in the energy sector. Between 2007 and 2008 he was Head of CEE Asset Management and Regulation. Between 2008 and 2009 he worked as Country Manager responsible for Hungary at E.ON Energie AG. In 2009, he was appointed Director of Energy Controlling and Optimization at E.ON Hungária Zrt. After, between 2011 and 2014 he worked as Managing Director of E.ON Ügyfélszolgálati Kft. In this capacity, he managed customer services for power and gas DSOs, overseeing competitive and regulated gas/power sales and distribution.

Before taking on his current position, Attila Kiss held the position of Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer at E.ON Hungária Group from July 2018 to July 2022. During this four-year tenure, he played a key role in the leadership and overall management of the company. He currently serves as the Senior Vice President, Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) at E.ON, based in Essen.

I am excited and looking forward to start” he wrote announcing his new position.
