ORLEN concludes gas deal with Saint-Gobain Group

Polish energy company ORLEN announced on 23 April that it has concluded a two-year agreement for the supply of natural gas with Polish companies from the Saint-Gobain Group, one of the largest producers of construction materials in Poland.

The maximum volume of deliveries provided under the contract is 2.6 terawatt hours (TWh) of gas, ORLEN said in a press release.

The agreement will come into force at the beginning of 2025 and will be valid until 31 December 2026. It ensures the purchase of natural gas on market terms, at prices linked to stock market indices.

This is another contract between the ORLEN Group and Polish companies from Saint-Gobain. The cooperation between both entities in the supply of natural gas has been ongoing since January 2015.
