For the first time, gas will enter Moldova from Ukraine

PGNiG Supply and Trading (PST) in cooperation with Energy Resources of Ukraine (ERU), a group of companies with foreign investments which specialises in the implementation of projects in the Ukrainian energy sector, won the tender for the first time ever gas supply to Moldova as an alternative supplier.

At the end of October, Energocom, a company 100 per cent owned by the State of Moldova, announced a short term tender to purchase gas to be supplied to the Moldovan border on a daily basis.

“We truly believe that after this crisis Moldava will liberalise gas and power market to guarantee transparency and competition on its energy markets for the better and sustainable future of Moldavian people,” said Yaroslav Mudryy, Managing Partner of ERU.
