What will you do
CEENERGYNEWS is looking for an intern to join its team to report on the energy industry in Central and Eastern Europe.
As students and aspiring journalists you will see first-hand how a small newsroom
works: from researching the topics, to identify the sources, to write the articles and
share them on social media.
Sometimes, we will expect you to come up with fresh ideas and angles, based on your
fields of interest. Sometimes, stories will be assigned to you. It is a very dynamic job,
so we also welcome new alternative forms of digital storytelling.
You will have the chance to learn how to conduct interviews and how to report stories
always following journalism ethics and industry’s specific rules.
Write 2 short articles (300-400 words) about a topic of your choice related to the
energy industry in CEE. It can be anything from climate change, sustainability, oil and
gas, nuclear, innovative ideas and so on.
Please include a title and a photo that you think it may represent the topic.
You can send the articles via email to CEENERGYNEWS’ Editor-in-chief Claudia
Patricolo: claudia.patricolo@ceenergynews.com
