PGE dismisses Wojciech Dąbrowski as CEO and names temporary replacement

Polish state-owned energy company PGE Group announced on Wednesday evening (7 February) that its supervisory board has decided to dismiss Wojciech Dąbrowski from the company’s management board.

As of 7 February, the now-former President of the PGE management board Wojciech Dąbrowski was replaced by Eryk Kosiński as temporary Member and President of the PGE management board for a three-month period.

Eryk Kosiński is Head of the Department of Public Economic Law at the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań. He is also a Fulbright Fellow at the James Baker Institute for Public Policy at the Center for Energy Studies of Rice University in the United States.

On 7 January, PGE also dismissed Wanda Buk, Vice-President for Regulation and Rafał Włodarski, Vice-President for Support and Development from its management board.

Małgorzata Banasik is temporarily performing the duties of a Member of the management board for a three-month period.
