ORLEN dismisses Daniel Obajtek as CEO

Polish energy company ORLEN announced on Thursday (1 February) that the company’s Supervisory Board has decided to dismiss Daniel Obajtek from the ORLEN Management Board.

This decision came after reviewing a letter from the outgoing President of the ORLEN Management Board, Daniel Obajtek, in which he declared that “he placed himself at the disposal of the company’s Supervisory Board in the scope of the performed function.”

The dismissal comes into effect from the end of the day on 5 February 2024, ORLEN confirmed in a statement. No further details were published about his replacement.
