Michał Pietrzak appointed Poland’s Chief Inspector of Environmental Protection

On request of Poland’s Minister of Climate and Environment Michał Kurtyka, the President of the Council of Ministers Mateusz Morawiecki appointed Michał Pietrzak the Chief Inspector of Environmental Protection.

Michał Mistrzak is a graduate of law from the Wroclaw University and of management from the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business. A former officer of the Central Investigation Bureau of Police with twenty years of experience. Co-creator of the Department for Combating Organised Crime in the General Inspectorate for Environmental Protection, in which he acted as the deputy director for the last several months. Co-author of the greatest amendment of the Penal Code and the Code of Administrative Offences in the area of combating environmental crime since the 1990s.
