Justine Ryan appointed Vortex Energy CEO

Vortex Energy, a Polish subsidiary of Dutch energy company Vitol Group, announced on Wednesday (13 March) that its supervisory board has approved the decision to appoint Justine Ryan as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Since September 2021, Ms Ryan has been responsible for renewable energy investments in the EMEA markets at Vitol. She gained experience by holding key managerial roles at GE Capital, GE Renewable Energy, and SSE/Airtricity, Vortex Energy noted in a press release.

“Changes in key positions in the management of Vortex Energy are of paramount importance for the company’s strategic plans. According to the new business model, the company will become an independent renewable energy producer in Poland and Europe,” said Justine Ryan, CEO of Vortex Energy.

Adam Błażeczek has also been appointed as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Maciej Przybylski as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Both have extensive experience in efficient resource management and project implementation, Vortex Energy said.

Having served as CEO since January 2019, Maciej Pepliński has been appointed to the position of Chief of Staff (CoS). Previously involved in strategic management, he will now coordinate and support the leadership actions of the company in his new role.
