Julian Popov has been appointed Bulgaria’s Minister of Environment and Water, succeeding Rositsa Karamfilova.
Accepting the new position, Mr Popov reminded of the importance of key people and experts who were already key elements when he was Minister back in 2013.
“Climate, energy transition and industrial decarbonisation will be my priorities,” he said.
At the same time, Minister Popov will also chair the government committee on the European Green Deal.
