Diana Kazakevič has been appointed new Chair of the Board and General Manager of Ignitis Polska, a subsidiary of Lithuania’s energy holding company Ignitis.
Mrs Kazakevič has worked in Ignitis Group as the Head of the Polish Region since 2018. In order to further strengthen the position in the Polish market, Ignitis Polska decided to launch the selection process of an independent member of the supervisory board of the company.
In three years working in the Polish market, Ignitis Polska entered the country’s electricity and gas wholesale market, joined the Nasdaq Commodities OMX market operating in Scandinavia and, this July, became the supplier of electricity and gas in the B2B market.
Mrs Kazakevič has been working with Ignitis Group since 2012. Previously, she was responsible for the international development of the Group in Central and Eastern Europe. She is also a member of the Board in Gamybos Optimizavimas, a subsidiary company of the Group.
