On Monday, stakeholders from various industries across the country signed a letter of intent to establish the “Central Hydrogen Valley,” which will operate in central Poland and cover the entire process of hydrogen production and utilisation. 4. Korean private equity fund enters Romania’s nuclear energy development

Moving to the region’s emerging nuclear energy industry, DS Private Equity signed a deal with Romanian energy companies, Nuclearelectrica and Nova Power and Gas, to invest 75 million euros in the Front End Engineering and Design (FEED) 2 study for the development of the small modular reactor (SMR) plant in Doicești, Romania. 5. Lithuania’s offshore wind power development marks progress with provisional tender winners

Ignitis Renewables together with its strategic partner Ocean Winds submitted the highest development fee (20 million euros) at the tender for the 700 MW Lithuanian offshore wind project.
