E.ON reaches a new milestone with half a million EV charging points in Europe

E.ON has reached an important milestone on the way to building up an extensive charging network for electric cars: the company now has half a million charging points in Europe.

“E.ON Drive customers can now conveniently charge their electric cars at more than half a million charging points – in 14 European countries. Range anxiety is no longer an issue today and even longer cross-border journeys are not a problem with an electric car. This is how we are advancing the energy transition in transportation,” explained Filip Thon, CEO of E.ON Energie Deutschland.

The E.ON charging network stretches from Norway to Italy and from the UK to Poland, while further countries are planned. E.ON offers its Drive Comfort makeing it easy and convenient to find charging stations. At charging stations operated by E.ON, EV drivers charge with 100 per cent green electricity.

E.ON aims to support individuals and companies in the transition to sustainable driving with its 360° charging offer. This includes charging in public, wallboxes for the home, also combined with solar systems, as well as comprehensive solutions for companies.
