PGNiG Upstream Norway signed an agreement with Norske Shell to acquire interests in Kvitebjørn and Valemon, two producing fields in the North Sea. The gas produced will be sent to Poland after the Baltic Pipe link is launched.
PGNiG is launching production from the Duva field, in which its subsidiary, PGNiG Upstream Norway owns a 30 per cent share.
PGNiG is taking part in the electrification of Norwegian fields to reduce CO2 emissions. Natural gas used to supply power to the Gina Krog platform will be replaced by electricity.

PGNiG signed a multi-year contract with Ørsted for the sale and purchase of natural gas. The company continues to grow and strengthens its position in Northern Europe and particularly in the Danish market which will be linked to Norway and Poland via the Baltic Pipe.
