Gas TSOs from Bulgaria, Greece, Romania and Hungary sign MoU for the development of the “Vertical Corridor”

During the meeting, the signatories (TSOs) reviewed an analysis of the cooperation under the Vertical Corridor memorandum for the configuration of the natural gas transmission routes and the steps to be taken for the project to become operational. Additionally, the TSOs discussed the inclusion of Eustream Slovakia, GTSOU and Vestmoldtransgaz in the project.

As noted by Transgaz in a press release, a new MoU on the Vertical Corridor is to be signed in Athens on the sidelines of the High-Level CESEC meeting which will contribute to “shaping the gas flow from the Revithoussa and Alexandroupolis LNG terminals” and other LNG terminals in Greece which are now in the final investment decision phase.
