JANAF and PETRACO sign new oil storage agreement

Croatia’s crude oil transportation company JANAF has entered into an agreement with Swiss oil trading company PETRACO for the storage of oil at the Omišalj Terminal.

The contract covers a capacity of 117,856 cubic metres based on a “full for empty” principle, spanning from 1 August 2024 to 31 July 2025, with the option for extension.

“We are extremely pleased to continue our cooperation with our long-term partner,” stated the JANAF Board. “This agreement is another confirmation that JANAF’s strategic investments in our transport and storage systems, security, employees and especially in our partnerships with system users, are on the right track. Thanks to the high-quality cooperation we maintain with reputable partners, including leading regional and global players in the energy market, we expect JANAF to continue its period of stable and profitable business.”
