52nd International Gas Conference to be held on 27-28 September

The 52nd International Gas Conference will take place in Siófok in early autumn, bringing together key industry players for presentations on current industry topics and panel discussions by prominent experts on a variety of gas issues.

MVM, the organiser of the event, and MVM CEEnergy, the professional contributor, are committed this year again to make the conference truly international and also topical. To this end, prominent representatives of the industry have been invited to give presentations and participate in panel discussions.

The keynote speech at the opening of the conference is already set to be very engaging, as it will explore the regional, European and global geopolitical implications of the current situation. This is to be followed by expert panel discussions throughout the day on topics such as the security of gas supply, LNG as a source and route diversification alternative, or new technological potentials.

The second day will focus on the current relationship between geopolitics and the gas market, and the impact of the ongoing developments on the industry, with a view to new challenges and possible solutions. In addition, national and international experts will discuss these issues in the context of the retail segment.

Technical topics will also be addressed on Wednesday, with presentations, as in previous years, on new advancements, technological innovations and trends, opening up new horizons in the domestic gas trade.
