LNG Croatia signs Joint Development Agreement with Korean SK Group

The operator of the LNG terminal in Krk LNG Croatia announced on Thursday (12 October) that it has signed a “Joint Development Agreement” for potential cooperation in the field of liquefied natural gas (LNG), renewables and energy efficiency with SK E&S, a subsidiary of Korean energy company SK Group.

Signed by SK E&S’s Vice President of Global Business Development Youngwook Yoo and LNG Croatia’s Managing Director Ivan Fugaš in Zagreb, the agreement sets out a framework for projects related to the efficiency of the Krk LNG Terminal, carbon capture and the development of an LNG distribution and bunker station.

At the end of September, LNG Croatia said that it had started all the necessary steps to increase the maximum capacity of the Krk terminal.
