Dentons advises GoldenPeaks Capital on financing for new solar farms in Poland

International law firm Dentons has advised GoldenPeaks Capital on obtaining financing from BayernLB for new two portfolios of solar farms in Poland. The projects, Delta and Echo, will have a total capacity of 157 megawatts (MW).

This is another financing for GoldenPeaks Capital, where the revenues of the project companies are based on commercial power purchase agreements (cPPAs) and not on the auction-based support system.

GoldenPeaks Capital, one of the fastest-growing independent producers of green energy in Europe, has operated in Poland since 2016. Its portfolios in Eastern Europe have a combined capacity of over 2.3 gigawatts (GW) of photovoltaic assets and represent the largest pool of assets owned by a single entity to date.

Dentons provided comprehensive support to GoldenPeaks Capital in preparing, negotiating and executing the financing documents, preparing a due diligence report on the projects included in the portfolio and advising on PPA regulations.
